Samoa Cookhouse Overnighter

Come join us for a ride through the coast range and down the coast to the Samoa Cookhouse This will be a four-day three night ride. On the first day we will ride down the coast to Coos Bay taking in all the Ocean sights, sounds and smells Hwy 101 has to offer. On the Second day we will continue down the coastline to Eureka, California, with a detour to the Red Woods, then have dinner at the Samoa cookhouse. The Samoa Cookhouse, the last surviving cookhouse in the West, it continues the tradition of serving lots of good food - lumber camp style! On day three we head through the mountains to cave junction for lunch then on to Medford. On the last leg of the journey we will go through Crater Lake then up Hwy 97 back into Tigard PHD. Come enjoy the Ride. Make your Reservations Today as rooms are filling Fast.  
 
Arrive at PHD at 7:30. KSU at 8:00 AM on sept 11. Our first stop will be stop will be buffet breakfast at Spirit Mountain casino. After breakfast and fuel up, we will be headed to Lincoln City then on ward via 101 to Coos Bay. First gas stop will Florence. We will then head to Coos Bay where we will stay the night at Mill Casino-Hotel. We have a block of rooms set aside for the ride. See below for room reservation information.  
Saturday morning on Sept 12. KSU will at 9:00 AM, we will travel south on Hwy 101 into California with our destination being Eureka California. Where we will stay our second night.  We will be stopping at Brookings Oregon on the way to Eureka for a fuel stop. 
 
We should be arriving in Eureka around 1:30 PM. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Eureka Best Western Bay shore Inn. So reserve your rooms today. Tell them you are from Sunset Hog to get a room discount. We will stop at the hotel to unload our gear. For those who want to go on a ride to the Avenue of the Giants, we are planning on departing at 2:30 PM. We will be meeting at the Samoa Cookhouse at 6:30 PM for dinner. 
Sunday morning, Sept 13. We will be heading NE with the destination of Medford, OR. We  will be stopping in Cave Junctions for Lunch at the River Valley Restaurant.  
Monday morning Sept 14. Is the day the we are headed home but first we will be stopping at Crater Lake then we will head north on the east side of the cascades.
