THIS RIDE IS FULL - Fossil/Shaniko Ride Overnight

Don’t miss the awesome Fossil/Shaniko overnight ride!  This unique overnighter is scheduled for Saturday, September 14th, returning home on Sunday, September 15th.   We will hit every twist and turn on our way down to Madras, followed by lunch at the newly renovated Indian Head Casino. Then we are off to Shaniko, where we will spend the night at the historic, haunted, Shaniko Hotel.

We hired a local ghost storyteller & historian to share the history of Shaniko, the haunted hotel, and how Shaniko became a ghost town. We will bring plenty of games to play, as this is a real ghost town in the purest sense of the word. The town literally shuts down when the sun sets. We will be treated to a family-style dinner at the ice cream shop right next door to the hotel on Saturday night.  Sunday, we will rise and shine for an early continental breakfast at the ice cream shop, and then we will saddle up for a great day of riding.  First, we head to Fossil, then onto Condon, finding more twists and turns on our way to the Dirty Cowgirl Café in Wasco for lunch. The final leg of the ride takes us through Dufur, around Mt. Hood, and officially ends at Government Camp.
