Lost Vader

This ride was made in an effort to search out new roads in the Northwest we have not been on. Southern Washington does not offer us many roads that are not an end, but after searching the maps, I have found a couple of roads we as a club have not been on yet. The ride starts with us going the back way to hwy 47 through Vernonia to Clatskanie then to the Westport ferry crossing over to Pugent Island and our lunch stop in Cathlamet. After lunch, we will run over SR407 (Elochoman valley road) through and over the mountain to mill creek and back onto Hwy 4. Then we will make a left turn over the back route to Castle Rock and Hwy 411, riding up to the town of Vader. After a break at the historic Jail (That is the park with the nice public bathrooms), we will then go back on Hwy 411 to the Lewis & Clark Bridge over to Hwy 30 back to Cornelius Pass Road, and home.
