The Olympic Peninsula Run

As most of you are aware, with the intense fire season we have had to cancel all the eastern rides this year. To try and get a great ride in as a replacement, I am going to lead the Olympic Peninsula ride. This will be a three day ride to replace the Cascade Loop Ride.

We will ride to Aberdeen for our first night stay, then to Port Angeles for night two. Monday we will ride the east coast of the Puget sound and then home. I am working on the maps to add a few more stops for more fun places to see. Keep an eye open, get hotel rooms and we gunna have a great time.

 

As for Hotels, I have the Olympic Inn and Suites in Aberdeen. They are reasonable and clean and have a 7.1 out of ten rating. They also have multiple rooms available. As for Port Angeles, the Riviera is a 7.4 just east of the Red Lion in the heart of town, in walking distance to all the good eateries and bars.

I recommend using Kayak.com to get the best price, but there are many other options in both cities close to where I am if the member wants something fancier or cheaper.
