New year, new website.

We are starting 2018 with a new website!

Yes, it may look a lot like the old one, but this one has been updated.  We now have user profiles, and you can also create your own username and password, as well as update your contact information.  If you are a current member, you should have received an email message, with a link to login and set up your account.  If you are a current member, and did not receive a link, click here and enter your HOG ID# or email address.  If you continue to have trouble, please contact [email protected].

You may also notice some changes around the events.  For all events, you now will see more information, and you can RSVP to events that you plan on attending.  This will be helpful for us in anticipating how many people will be showing up.  You don't have to RSVP, but I do hope that it catches on.   For rides, if there is a GPX file available, you will be able to download it directly from the event detail, and review the map and general instructions.

Lastly, we are releasing an update to the HOG[SCAN] app.  You have probably seen the Chapter Officers and Road Captains using a smartphone app to check you into events.  Well, we have added some features to make the smartphone app useful to members as well.  First, it has a "Virtual Membership Card", so that you can quickly "check-in" to events.  This is great for the Chapter, because it means we can stop printing membership cards.  You can view upcoming events, and RSVP to them.  Once checked-in for an event, you can see who else has been checked-in.  The app costs 99 cents.  It's mostly to keep the looky-loo's away, but it also helps pay the app developer.
